Queen’s birthday celebration 2009

Wednesday, 30th April 2009

To celebrate the birthday of Queen Beatrix, a gathering was held at the International Wall of Friendship in Hobart. Guests from as far afield as Ulverstone enjoyed traditional treats such as oliebollen and rookworst, plus a specially decorated orange birthday cake.

The Silvertones, a group made up of the senior (silver) members of the Wellingtones, provided high quality singing for the occasion.
