Personal histories of Dutch migrants to Tasmania

The Dutch Australian Society invites all migrants who came to Tasmania from the Netherlands to record their stories by completing and submitting the form below.

The information collected will be stored in the Dutch Migrant Record section of the new Channel Heritage Museum. If you agree to it, we would also love to record your life experiences on video. The video record would then also be lodged in the Museum.

The records kept will not only be a source of information for your children, grandchildren and other future generations, they will also form a valuable body of information for those researching the true history of Dutch immigration into Tasmania.

Remember, the future always wants to know something about the past. By recording your story, you can set down the facts and thus take control of how your personal history is presented. To make the record complete and of value, please answer all the questions below as fully as possible.
