ingredients:
3 tbsp raspberry-flavoured syrup
½ cup sugar
1 egg white
2 ladyfingers
method:
Put raspberry syrup, sugar and the unbeaten egg-white in a deep bowl or electric-mixer.
Beat by hand for 10 minutes or more. The longer one beats, the more one gets.
Serve with a wafer or lady finger.
In Holland, red-currant juice is used, but raspberry syrup is an acceptable substitute.
